What is AcroKnox?
AcroKnox is AcroYoga Knoxville!
After five years of practicing AcroYoga and teaching on the road, Rebekah Lührs has set down roots at the base of the Smoky Mountains. Sharing the practice and the core principles of both yoga and AcroYoga are a lifestyle for her that cultivates deeper relationships, fluid communication, trust, and community. Rebekah established AcroKnox in 2016 as a platform to support the growth of an AcroYoga community. AcroKnox currently offers weekly classes and workshops here in Knoxville as well as coordinates community events with its sister-group to the Knoxville Acro Facebook Group.

On a deep, spiritual level, teaching AcroYoga, for Rebekah Lührs, is her calling. In both her practice and teaching of AcroYoga, she recognizes that the practice empowers positive growth in individuals, relationships, and communities in the most fundamental ways. Ultimately this growth is what she is passionate about. She has been practicing yoga for over ten years and completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification Training at the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina. She has been practicing AcroYoga since 2011 and is a certified AcroYoga International instructor.
Teaching and practicing yoga, for me, is a lifestyle. As an individual, it is a way for me to push myself to grow both physically and spiritually. AcroYoga opens a space for participants to support one another and be supported, to trust and be trusted, and to explore ways to communicate using all senses. The practice embodies core principles that I strongly stand by in my personal life and am passionate about sharing with others: communication, partnership, trust, and personal transformation. As an instructor, it is my intention to empower others to allow these core principles to pour into all aspects of their lives and relationships.
